Alexander Rosan Massage and Bodywork

Alex gave an incredible massage when I needed it the most. He provided an incredibly peaceful environment and his use of different techniques made for a wonderful experience. I came in with a tweaked knee and left with it already feeling better. I would 100% recommend him to anyone in need of a great massage!

Alexander Rosan helped me regain my functioning and livelihood, as well as my resilience and hope for the future. This will be a long review but its worth the read! One year ago, I was diagnosed with a condition called functional neurological disorder (FND). It is a very fascinating but debilitating disorder in which the brain and body are structurally normal, but the brain is not sending or receiving signals correctly. I had severe case, and had to leave work due to my symptoms, including severe cognitive dysfunction, involuntary movements, seizures, emotional dysregulation, intermittent paralysis and paresis, and difficulty with speech, recall, and processing language. My life turned upside down overnight. I was struggling to walk, speak, move, think, and take care of myself and I was very scared of what my future might hold. To make things worse, FND does not have a cure or specific treatment, which led to a lot of hopelessness initially. I did quickly pursue speech therapy, physical therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) to address what I could. But something was missing. FND is very closely linked to anxiety and other mental health disorders, so along with the DBT, I knew I needed additional help to calm my nervous system and try to ground myself and learn to rest and relax while I worked on rearranging my entire life to reduce stress. And then I found Alex. After my first session with Alex, I knew he was meant to be an incredible part of my recovery. With little known about how to specifically support folks with FND, Alex jumped in ready to get creative and learn what my body and nervous system was asking for. Without prior knowledge of FND, he was able to trust his intuition to guide his work with me, and over the past year, hes only grown more aware of what my body and nervous system needs, and I have benefited immensely from his dedication, talent, and amazing heart. During this year of working together, Alex has helped me regain so much of my functioning and helped support me in getting my life back together, but building it to be sustainable. I still have symptoms every day but they are generally mild and I am able to work through them. I am walking, thinking, talking again, and most of the time folks dont notice any neuro symptoms. I am also going back to work starting my own business! I put in a LOT of work this year to see this happen, but I cannot stress enough how much I believe that Alex and his care were integral in seeing me recover. I truly feel that he was sent to me to help heal me. I continue to work with him frequently, and our relationship gives me so much hope for my life and belief in my abilities. I truly cannot recommend Alex enough. In many ways, I feel that his care saved my life, and I know he can work magic for all of his clients! I would truly give him 100 stars if I could.

Fantastic massage and enjoyed the technique. Needed some bodywork after all my sporting activities and this was perfect.
