DHL Global Forwarding

My package arrived Monday, I asked to pickup over the phone however 2 representatives at two different times assured me it would be out for delivery the next day because they need 24 hours notice for a pickup anyways. Tuesday comes and I call, its definitely going out for delivery according to the rep, it hasnt been delivered yet so I call again to check and apparently it was loaded onto the truck and taken back off to be delivered the next day(Wednesday) instead!! I told them I need to pickup my package and I was not allowed to pickup the same day because they need 24 hour notice(again!) and then they said I could change my delivery option to pickup but they would need 24 hours for that to happen or I could yet again wait for a definitive delivery in the morning. Here we are on Wednesday and apparently someone attempted to deliver the package with no response which is ridiculous. I did not get a notification of arrival nor a phone call or any attempt to notify me upon arrival if there even was one. Im SHOCKED at how ridiculous this company is who wont even allow customers to drive up and pickup a package with LIVE PLANTS inside, cant deliver a package in a timely manner either, nor can a package be effectively dropped off to you in a way you can rely on.

DHL is by far my favorite shipping provider, especially for anything globally. Their speed and ability to always beat their estimated arrival time is unmatched. Currently have a package in route from India, it went from India, to Germany, to Cincinnati Ohio then Portland in 48hrs!! It may even arrive today, 5 days early. Yay!
