Alchemy Jeweler

Posting this review for a friend. She brought in an old foriegn necklace and it was repaired quickly and with kindness. Nice to have this shop in the neighborhood.

They let me in when I didn't have an appointment and fixed the ring on my chain for free. Super nice people!

I have no idea where this rating came from. I went to Alchemy several years ago and had a wonderful experience. They were so helpful and did a great job resizing my ring. I think Ive been hacked

We had an incredible experience here. Sander helped us restore two older pieces of jewelry, and was very attentive to our preferences. I will definitely be returning to Alchemy!

Came here to pick out a wedding band with my fiance. Immediately was insulted by the sales rep upon walking in about the ring I had myself designed for my fiance, and was fabricated by a respected jeweler. He had said it was poorly designed, and wouldnt pair well with any wedding band design. We had already been to two other jewelers who complemented it, my effort on it, and proved that it would in fact work with any low profile wedding band. Obviously, within a minute of trying on a ring, we proved it would in fact pair just fine. He admitted to being wrong, but fell far short of apologizing. Throughout the rest of the appointment I was continued to be insulted about our style choices, ring color, and taste. I had never heard anything like this at any other jeweler. This is probably the most pompous, snooty jeweler in Portland. Beware!
