I live in a reach building for 15 yeas. No upgrades to my unit on 15 years, except blinded! 2 + years to get drinking fountains fixed. Unwashed carpet hallway 4 years, broken elevator since October 2022. Windows not washed-out 4 years!Woman assaulted in her room, beated up & taken to hospital...unknown condition....its a secret No one seems to care!!

I personally dont deal with REACH housing. But my mom does, and has been for 26yrs now. My personal opinion and review wont change about them until they get on a more professional level on who they have manage their properties. At least with one property in particular. My mother, whom Im a caregiver for also, has a number of health issues. She has lived in a building for 26yrs, that is ran by REACH, and has never been late on rent. My mom pays her rent every month on the 3rd, like clockwork. My mom has received 2 evictions for this month. By no means, from no fault of hers. She paid her rent on the 3rd, just like every month. And on the 10th, she meets the new manager (second manager in 2 months). On the 11th she receives an eviction notice for NON-PAYMENT OF RENT. There was NEVER a 72hr notice. And nothing was mentioned to my mother about rent not being received, when she met the new manager, the day before the EVICTION was put on her door! My mom gets everything worked out with that eviction. And they have her write out another check for this months rent, since nobody in the office can find the one she had put in their mailbox on the 3rd. And what happens after she gives the new manager another check for this months rent?? She gets yet ANOTHER eviction for NON-PAYMENT OF RENT?? Seriously?? This is absurd to do this once to an elderly woman with so many health issues!! But to do to it TWICE in one wk?? Alls that says is how UNPROFESSIONAL you guys are running things!! Youre causing my mother nothing but heartache and completely unneeded stress in her life. And who knows who else this has happened to.
