Room is on the small side but not a bad room at all.

There's a spectrum of hotels, across which you'll usually find airport-adjacent hotels to be the worst. This one wasn't that bad. It won't get five stars, but it was clean and quiet. The only concern I had was the ominously dark parking lot.

We stayed here for the night after flying into Portland for our spring break vacation on the Oregon coast, this is definitely one of the nicer Marriott properties we have stayed at in a while, the rooms were clean and look like they may have been recently renovated. Always love the beds at Marriott, super comfortable and our room was great, it has a microwave, fridge and coffee. The breakfast area was clean and very well kept with lots of breakfast options for all food types and the coffee was excellent, we asked for extra towels and received them promptly from house keeping. Overall a great stay and would recommend for family and or business travel. Close proximity also to PDX.
