I am still reeling from the loss of my husband, but what compounded it was the complete lack of communication in the hours after he passed at midnight. After the initial call to the answering service, no one called back to any of the contact numbers. We couldnt get through on the phone in the morning for hours, and when we did when the office opened, there was no record that we had called during the night. I read these reviews about having bed baths three times a week and spiritual counselors but we were lucky if we had somebody bathe him once a week, and never heard from any spiritual counselor despite asking for that to be prioritized. The social worker made one stop after about 10 days in. The final insult to injury was getting a message from my husbands GP a day after he passed, checking in how he was doing. Im still trying to understand why no one followed up with his doctors to let them know he had passed. Our intake process was also handled with very little empathy. The nurses who did come were wonderful, but I dont know why we were assigned someone who went shortly afterwards on a week long vacation (the week my husband passed).

They been in business 40 years and still providing the warm loving care for their clients. They have a social worker and nurse as part of their staff. As a way of giving back to the community they have a large room for meetings for office parties.

While we got off to a bad start with communication, Care Partners really came through for my husband in his final days. The nurses are absolute angels, providing the best care with such compassion. They responded quickly to all my calls, answered all my questions, and provided much-needed support for me.

A few years ago, I practiced nursing here. Now, I am a member of the board of directors. I'm proud to be a part of Care Partners because of the strong commitment to patients and families that persisted even throughout the pandemic. Every patient got in-person visits for care from registered nurses, hospice aides, social workers, & chaplains to meet their needs. Providing excellent care for people with life-limiting illnesses, whether hospice or palliative care, changes people's lives.

We were reeling from a terminal cancer diagnosis and I called to make sure Care Partners covered our area.
I spoke to Robin who answered all my questions and told us about what they do. Her compassion and understanding were a great comfort to us all and we chose their service.
The response time was very fast and they helped us set up to receive our loved one home for the final days of their life.
Everything happened like clockwork and the nurse and aide arrived on time, sometimes a bit delayed by a prior call or traffic, and they kept us advised.
On the final day of our loved ones life, on a weekend day, I was surprised that the on call nurse was Robin. She arrived as quickly as she could. Her compassion and care for our loved one, and us, was incredible. She helped make the final hours with our loved one as comfortable as possible. When our loved one passed away Robin returned as quickly as she could to clean and dress him before the funeral home arrived.
Make no mistake, bringing a loved one home is stressful and hard but Care Partners made this difficult time as easy as they possibly could.
We can not thank them enough.
