Select Home Care Portland

We had requested assistance for my mother in law, who lives with us but was just getting out of a significant hospital stay. We didn't know how much care she would need. Select Home Care provided a fabulous caregiver, Adriana, who was amazing and was exactly what we needed until our MIL could get back on her feet!

I am passionate about caring for others and thought this would be a wonderful match for me. I reached out to them about career possibilities and they immediately texted me asking for a phone interview the following day at noon. I canceled plans and rearranged my day, sat waiting when I finally received a text of questions. I answered them and asked when they would be calling me and they prompted me to to a link and told me I would have a phone interview on Monday. Why would I again change my plans when you are not honest and completely disrespectful of my time. This was unprofessional on many levels and I would NEVER do that to them or their clients, so they just lost out on having a wonderful, accountable, respectful employee.

As a part time caregiver, I wrote a review for Select Home Care when I had worked for them for 4 years. Well, its now 9 years & theres a reason Im still around! Their flexibility in matching clients needs with my schedule is exceptional. They dont just post a work schedule & expect you to fit into their box. They consider if the client is a good match & ask if specific times will work for you. We work as a team to provide the best care for our clients. It truly is a blessing to work for a business that regularly says thank you & calls you amazing & a rockstar!
