Bought the couch and love seat in 2009....14 yrs later like "new".....held up great...Castellano are good family friends of ours.....Joe's mom, Theresa....came from the same part of Italy, my Dad came from.....Northern...the Genoa region....Nice, hard working people....

I bought a couch, chair and ottoman with coordinating pillows. I love the result and the process equally!

Ordered a custom sofa through Portland Furniture Company. Beautiful looking, but very poor quality. Within the first 6 months, springs collapsed, requiring me to rent a truck to bring the sofa back to Biltwell for repair. A few months later, the frame began to squeak loudly, and continues to do so. (And I weigh 160 lbs, so am not taxing the frame with my weight.) Now, 4 years later, the faux leather material on the seat cushion is falling apart. I brought these issues to Biltwell's attention; they have no response other than that the warranty has expired. (Despite the fact that the leatherette material was claimed to be tested to sustain more than tens of thousands of "rubs," and has come nowhere close to this limit.) I wanted to support a local Portland furniture manufacturer, but these guys just don't get it. The name is a misnomer; their products are definitely NOT built well. I recommend buying elsewhere.
