        A historic - and beautiful - place to host an event, from weddings to holiday parties or any special occasion, for groups up to about 200 people. If you are a Freemason, you owe it to yourself to see how much more you can learn by seeking the degrees of the Scottish Rite. They were created to expand your understanding of the lessons taught in Blue Lodge. Did you know that the Portland Scottish Rite Temple is one of the very first temples and the blueprint for most other S R temples in the U. S. for decades? Truly a significant and historic site. Please remember that the temple is available to rent for your club or group to have a holiday party or other private occasion.

        Okay venue for fundraising events. Correcting my review ... the facility is ADA accessible but it does require the user to enter and circulate separately from other guests. Impossible to find safe or any street parking especially on Timbers or Thorns game nights but that us not the "fault" of this venue, just requirs pre-planning znd earlier arrival time. We attended a PPS fundraiser in April 2023. Have attended several others in years past. Good economical venue.

      Hello Paul, Thank you for your review! We are actually fully ADA accessible according to all federal requirements. We have an ADA entrance just to the right of our main entrance on Morrison St., we have elevator access to all of the floors of the building, and all our restrooms are upgraded to be 100% ADA compliant. Unfortunately, you are correct about the parking, with the massive expansion to the soccer stadium it has made it very difficult for all the theater and event business in the area because of the substantial logistical issues when the stadium increased to over 25,000 seats in a area of town with only about 300 parking spaces. We are trying our best to survive as a small locally owned business who has operated in the same spot for over 100 years but it is not getting an easier, that is for sure. Look forward to having you back for another event!
