We have been driving to Arlos from Vancouver for 3 years . It is hands down the best fish and chips we have ever had. Lightly breaded large ,moist chunks of cod with their freshly cut fries. The 4 piece is enough to split. An article in the Vancouver Columbian touted a new Englishfish and chips trailer on Anderson rd.We were excited to try it and did. We were very disappointed in the quality and taste. We arent going back but have been to Arlos 4 or 5 times since.We cant wait to get there and they never let us down. It is well worth the drive to the St Johns area in north Portland for this gem

This is some of the best fish and chips in Portland and it's from a cart. I'd stay away from the $1 extra for a coleslaw just because craziness and coleslaw is in a word... Crazy, but the fish is worth going back for and the fries are fries. Personally I prefer malt vinegar but the tartar sauce was yummy too

Fantastic fish and chips! We are very picky when it comes to fish and chips and Arlo's definitely does not disappoint. The best fish and chips we have had in the Portland area and definitely worth a stop.
