Horrible company they always overbooked, so when you get to the job you get sent home .. when I asked about this, they said that their policy to overbook.. so if you are approved for a job, theres no guarantee if youre really gonna get to work

unfortunately I wish I had better updates than the 1 star reviews but LGC does a good of stepping on it own toes. A lot of the temps get bad reps because of the volume of undesirable candidates they hire. Ive worked there off and on for around two years and about 70% of my lgc co workers are borderline drug addicts looking for quick cash. Its the lowest bar to clear for them and lgc makes the sign on process ridiculously easy, just to turn around and act surprised when the agency gets trashed by contractors for sending unreliable staff. Theyve attempted to combat this but to no avail. Many shifts require experience but dont verify whether or not you have it. (Meaning people will take shifts that you could be qualified for, just to quit or be terminated while LGC spams your phone with requests for others to pick up the shift.) Dress code is like a suggestion for most employees. Certain sites require you to be vaccinated but dont check on that either. The job sites dislike you for being LGC, and LGC dislikes you for only being a temp and working at your discretion. And I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH that there is a disposition towards the workers at any given site because of how terrible LGCs app and staff they hire are. You will be talked down to by various workers and managers simply for being apart of their organization. Its has a reputation of it own and its a stain that you cant get off of yourself. Theres loads of shifts to accept because they constantly hire and lose the agents for the contacts due to a plethora of reasons, and then blow your phone up with the same handful of sites for weeks because theyve exhausted their options and are nearing loss of contracts. Theyll let you take shifts and then decline you when you arrive to the site about 1 in 5 times. Theyll book you for 8 hour shifts then send you home after 3 because LGC doesnt communicate properly with the sites. They have a strict poaching policy with the contacts that prevent you from being hired onto an in-house role for the company youre working for. Itd be forgivable if the agency had decent management, worthwhile shifts, a good reputation or even a functional app that doesnt negatively impact you for not working correctly. (Dont get me started on the clock in system that negatively impacts your rating because it fails incessantly) All in all its what youd expect from Portland and then some. If you plan on being a diligent worker, getting paid decently or on time for that matter, just apply elsewhere and reap the benefit of getting the bare minimum from a real company.

LGC Hospitality is the way to go for all your catering and other odds and ends job needs at an affordable price. LGC makes it easy as an employee to clock-in and out, with using your cellphone as a tracking device ensuring that the needed worker arrives to the work sites. Not only would I have i worked for LGC, I would use LGC for all my catering/bartenders needs as well. Thank you again for all your hospitality over the years. Here's to a new year! Cheers

They texted me right before The Holidays last week telling me that I was not needed at my job anymore. I felt like that was an unprofessional move on their part. I had the worst Thanksgiving and Black Friday because all I could think about is being unemployed. How am I supposed to work if you're not giving me many options.
