Nina is so kind and I enjoyed learning math with her so much, which is amazing because I struggle with that subject. I highly recommend and will miss her!

We have worked with multiple tutors here and each has been fantastic. In addition, Scott is super responsive to questions and will put you in touch with other consultants if necessary. Sorry to see our favorite tutor move on but would not hesitate to call North Avenue again if we need help.

I can't say enough great things for Scott, Gwen, and Nina with North Avenue. The flexibility, communication, consistency have been perfect for my daughter who wants to always challenge herself to continue to remain on track and excel with her studies and future college testing.

Emma Coley has been my writing tutor for the past year and she has helped me so much in some of my toughest subjects. I moved to a new school that had a very different academic format than I'm used to and I really needed some help adopting new writing styles in order to be successful in my classes. When I first came to her, I had no idea how to structure argumentative or analysis essays and she gave me such valuable tools that I use on a daily basis. It is easier for me to talk through my thinking than jot it down and she has greatly helped me polish my thoughts on paper. The way she approaches writing and sees places of improvements is so thoughtful and eloquent. I am so grateful to have had Emma as my tutor and honestly don't know what I'll do without her!

Emma was a fantastic partner for my 14-year-old as she prepared to take the SSAT. She was patient, encouraging, and always had thoughtful takeaways and advice specific to my daughter's strengths as they tackled challenging portions of the exam. I would highly recommend her!
