I went here back in 2019. I was in Portland for an internship, and got my first ever cavity. I was impressed when I was there by the customer service and attentiveness at this practice. However, when I went to my home dentist, he said he thought they made the filling far bigger than necessary for the size of the original cavity. My home dentist filled two cavities for my in the years after that, and I am inclined to agree with him based on those experiences. My next fillings were smaller. Too big of fillings compromise the integrity of the original tooth, and make them more likely to crack. If the filling ever falls out, they have to drill some more out to refill it too if a cavity formed where the filling dropped out.

Dr. Blair is an extremely knowledgeable and caring dentist. He really focuses on the patient's level of comfort and provides clear direction on what he's doing. His staff is attentive, understanding, and they go the extra mile with clear communication, from scheduling appointments, following up after appointments, and making sure that you are well informed. Today was my very first appointment at Powell Dental, and my experience was incredible! From the moment I walked into the office, everyone made me feel so welcome. I decided to come here, because I have been a patient of Dr. Lee's for years. When I found out he was now at Powell Dental, it was an easy decision to switch dental offices. He has always provided amazing care, and I wouldn't want to see any other dentist. Dr. Lee is so personal and kind. He really listens to your concerns and answers any questions you have. I can tell from this initial visit that everyone really enjoys working together at this office, and it's such a positive environment for all. Thank you to the wonderful team at Powell Dental for a great first experience! :)
