Michael Khairallah, Dentist, Sept 2021 rebuilt my cracked tooth. $1500 out of pocket for me including the Smile discount plan. Today, June 2022 the cap came off when flossing. Whether it is the dentist, or the policy of Grant Park Dentistry, I find waiting 4.5 days to be scheduled in unacceptable. The hygienist was too harsh using a laser for cleaning leaving my gums ALL AROUND my entire mouth sensitive to cold for months! Glad some of it healed. Had to move on. Thought the new machinery and plenty or practitioners might win out. It did not. You can go if you want to be experimented on.

I've been going to Grant Park dentistry for a few years now and I've had only positive experiences. All of the staff and doctors are friendly and helpful. I've never had to wait very long for my appointments. They do a nice job going over clearly what your insurance covers as well. Would recommend!

By far my favorite dentist I have ever been to, I always have the best time here. That might sound silly but this is the most charming group of doctors and nurses, they always have me giggling and hype up my teeth. They are professional, efficient and so personable.

TLDR: Highly recommend this friendly, patient, and knowledgeable dentist practice! Really excited to have finally found a dentist that I hope to continue seeing for a long time! I scheduled online as a new patient and was able to get an appointment within a week (I think there were even next day slots available) and the process was easy. Front office staff was super nice and then Christy took me back for my xrays and quickly became my hero. She asked if anything in particular brought me in and I said not really, just a cleaning. She took the xrays and after looking at them for about 3 seconds asked me, "Do you find that you get food stuck a lot in your back upper-right area or get floss snagged there?" I almost jumped out of my chair confirming that YES! That happens all the time. She showed me on my xray that a filling done by my previous dentist was poking out there and that was the cause. The feeling of affirmation this gave me! I remembered that filling well and felt that something wasn't right, but my old dentist had examined it and told me it was fine so I've just been living thinking that was my life now, destined to always get food/floss stuck in that space. The even better news Grant Park Dentistry gave me after finding this flaw: they could fix it for me and fix it THAT DAY! Amazing. Incredible. Couldn't have been happier. Jay (office staff) walked me through the additional billing portion for the extra procedure, making it easy to understand and answering my questions. A standard cleaning did turn into a 4 hour visit, but I was happy to wait to get my snaggle filling fixed and was fortunate to have a flexible schedule that day. The staff checked on me often during the wait and did offer to reschedule for a different day, but I was happy to take a late morning nap with pleasant office white noise around me. And of course Dr. Khairallah (kair-AWL-uh) was 10/10 as well! Super friendly and knowledgable and I really appreciated the time he took to explain what he was seeing with my teeth and also how we was going to fix my snaggle filling. They drilled out the old filling, took 3D photos of it, and Dr. K let me watch over his shoulder as he adjusted the image on the computer to send to the 3D printer (very cool). After fixing my filling, Dr. K also assisted with part of my regular cleaning. From what I could gather, they had a busy schedule that day and he was helping out as able to ease the load on the hygienists. Class act in my book! Is it weird to say I had a great time at the dentist? Every staff member was so friendly (I laughed a lot during my lengthy visit) and they all really seemed to be a cohesive team. After trying out a few different dentists in Portland and taking long breaks between cleanings because nothing was quite right, I'm happy to say I have found my teeth's forever home.
