Update - everyone that made this place great is gone. Lowering from 5 stars. It was a good run. Original - The absolute best part of Industrious PDX are their staff. Jamie and Renata are *so* nice and *so* welcoming. You can wander in off the street any time just to say hi, and they'll make time for you. Having toured half of the shared work spaces on the west side, I really fell in love with the modern-chic, well-lighted, high end feel of Industrious. Also the space, the amount of it, generally way more. If you have visitors or clients, they're going to love coming here. Even when it's busy it doesn't tend to feel crowded. The amenities are all high quality. Oh, and the views. Go see the views. Another thing I really like is office flexibility. They provide desks and chairs at no charge (see below about fees). You can also bring your own. While the offices have a suggested number of personnel, there aren't any artificially imposed limits on the number of people in private offices. Be sure to factor in size of office and total number of people you can comfortably fit in it when comparing a "4 person" at Industrious to say, a "6 person" office at other shared spaces. Of particular note, when comparing overall prices, there aren't a bunch of extra little fees at Industrious. Others might have lockers, bike parking, extra chairs, etc., but almost inevitably added $20 for this, or $10 for that. Considering the prices being charged, it's a kind of weird nickel-and-diming that you don't experience at Industrious.

I adore Industrious Pioneer Square! The site leaders are so nice and accommodating. They go out of their way to make working in person safe but fun. They provide local snacks and treats, local coffee, and lots more. I feel welcome everytime I come to work here.

Great spot with a cool commons area. The staff here are nice and the other tenants are friendly. However, I do have one qualm about the actual spaces. They are glass walls, so 1) you're in a fishbowl. Anyone walking by can see everything you're doing. Don't write sensitive stuff on the whiteboards, or do so in code--which is inconvenient, 2) don't expect it to always be quiet. Bring noise-cancelling headphones because I always heard the sales calls and banter in the office next door. It's not their fault they talk loud, but I pretty much heard everything because glass is a terrible noise buffer. That said, the WW place we transferred from did not have full walls at all. They had these partial wall spaces that did not extend to the ceilings which meant you heard all the conversations in the other spaces right next to youso glass was an improvement. For privacy, I know you can put up plastic stuff that simulates frosted glass, but a real wall would be superior. Beside that, the place was always clean and the snacks were great. We used conference rooms and tech with no problems. If you drive, you're paying for it unless your company pays for it. It's downtown and has a great view of Pioneer Square. I like how each floor had their own mini-common area. However, people always treated it like their home and put their feet up on the coffee table. That's alright I suppose, but it made me second-guess ever putting a bagel or something down on a napkin. On our floor, people were a little too comfortable at times. Maybe it was just that one tenant. But overall, Industrious tries hard to keep the place nice. The section of phone booths on each floor added privacy for client calls, which I needed when my office mate needed the room. For the most part, you can get a lot done here!

Great coworking space. The employees were helpful and kind. Coffee was good. Views were great. Office spaces are pretty spacious and so are the meeting rooms. Very cozy seating in the main space. Felt like a living room.
