Workshops offered by Dr. Henderson are interesting ,well organized however, are limited in their scope to assessing mental health issues and focus more on causation rather than treatment. Very good for graduate students and less so for seasoned professionals. Nice job on ven diagrams ,graphs and materials.By the way when dealing with hate crimes, urge your counselors to report to FBI as you would with CPS cases.I diaagree with your stance on ways toward advocacy. An expert is not essential to represent victims of hate Empowering individual clients and counselors to seek legislative action gives them a voice and a place at the table.

Your mileage *will* vary. Obviously this is a low cost option for people, which is good, but the quality of care is also what I would call sliding scale. Being students, the counselors often lack the clinical experience that some people with more significant issues may need. Personally, I was asked if I, an adult man, would like to read The Hungry Hungry Caterpillar after expressing how two decades of severe abuse are exhausting me. Though the session only cost $10, I could have spent that on alcohol and been better off.

I have had such a positive experience in working with the student therapists here. Almost better than the multiple years and licensed therapists I have gone through prior... This is an awesome affordable resource available to the community!

Worst place to seek counseling. The staff who scheduled the appointment was instigating our relationship and did a horrible job nor understand how to read a schedule that was dated and timed for Wednesday at 3pm. First were two appointment voicemails stating a mix up and then even worse one called my phone saying one time and the other called my fianc stating another time and even as we worked as a team to talk to Louis and Clark to get the right time they still were saying two completely different things to me and my fianc. Terrible terrible terrible costumer service. No stars in our honesty opinion.
