I started seeing Dr. Christine Walty about 9 months ago after I suffered a pretty severe hamstring injury which left me unable to do most of my regular everyday activities. As a fitness professional and a professional athlete, it was important to me to find a provider that would help keep me moving while I recovered, and would get me back into full fitness and performance form as quickly as possible. Shortly after seeking treatment with Dr. Walty, what started out as a serve injury which left me hardly able to walk, quickly turned into a minor inconvenience in within just a matter of weeks. After consistent, regular visits and physical therapy with Dr. Walty, I was fully recovered and back to 100% performance and fitness levels within 8 weeks after injury! Im conceived that had I not sought treatment with Dr. Walty, my recovery would have been significantly longer, and I quite possibly would have re-injured myself in the process.
Since making a full recovery, I have continued to see Dr. Walty every two weeks, religiously. She has me on a great conditioning program to help prevent further injury, and also helps with any expected soreness and pain I experience from my regular training. No matter the kind of ailment I present to her, she knows just what to do to keep me healthy, happy, and moving. I refer all of my fitness clients to Tangelo, specifically Dr. Christine, and each one has come back with positive feedback about having a similar positive, successful experience.
