We came to check out a special event that had lots of booths, free backpacks, food vouchers, and community entertainment. There were two small parking lots (small for the size of the event), two buildings (a third still in construction, indoor seating, out door playground/splash pad, and bathrooms. The central seating is surrounded by various restaurants and you order and get a buzzer to pick up your food when it's ready. There were several kinds of foods that I saw: Thi, Southern, Sushi, African, and Indian. There was a cafe and ice cream shop too. (We got some of the Thi restaurant appetizers and they hit the spot, the Thi Ice coffee was good and super sweet) The bathrooms are accessed from the outside of the Marketplace building and you'll need a code to get in. I believe there were ramps and smooth even walkways for those with wheels or strollers. The playground was very new with artificial turf, slides, climbing ropes, and cool hexagon cube structures for kids to climb through and a little lookout tower. There was a nice central splash pad too. We were there between 11:30- 1:30 on a hot summer day and I gotta say... It was very hot and intense on the playground structure. Not much shade for adults watching or kids playing.
