I went in for my first cut because I had a good coupon, and the cut was fine. I went in for a second cut and the barber clearly had no experience. When I asked for a fade, they acted like I asked them to perform open heart surgery, and the other barber had to explain what that was to them. I ended up with a sub-Great Clips quality haircut. For $40 and a tip, Im not expecting a Hollywood stylist, but I do expect them to know what a fade is, and at the very least, have some experience cutting hair. Save your money and avoid this barbershop.

If you're in Portland and looking for a great men's hair salon, I highly recommend Metroman Hair Salon. I've been going to this place for the past 4 months and have had nothing but positive experiences.First of all, I always book my appointments online, which is super convenient and easy. Once I arrive at the salon, I'm always greeted with a warm welcome and a smile. The salon itself is clean and well-maintained, which is always a plus.But the best part about Metroman Hair Salon is definitely Amber Lynn. She's been cutting my hair since I first started coming here and she always does an amazing job. She's very versatile and really takes the time to understand what I want. I've never left the salon feeling anything less than 100% satisfied with my haircut.One of the things I appreciate most about Amber Lynn is that she really takes her time with each client. She doesn't rush through haircuts like some other salons I've been to. She's attentive and detail-oriented, which shows in the quality of her work.Overall, I would definitely recommend Metroman Hair Salon to anyone looking for a great men's hair salon in Portland.
