The manager then insultingly asked my wife to, "have your husband call me." My wife felt disrespected and thinks M.A./Chevron is prejudiced against females. Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

        What a great experience with Jason at Multnomah Automative. I was having trouble getting my new set of wheel covers on, so called to see if they could help. He greeted me and we installed those babies together, no charge for such a tiny job. He is very much into being a "small town shop" in the city. A great vibe. I will bring my car there for its next oil change. Made my day!

        I'd always recommend Multnomah Chevron - I've been bringing my cars here for years: two different Hondas and a Subaru. They are careful and precise. Jason at the front desk explains any problems clearly, and he'll give you cost estimates up front. This is not a dirt cheap shop - you get what you pay for: good service, timely updates, clear description of issues, excellent mechanics. Service: General repairs & maintenance

        Staff is friendly but after going to them a few times, we have realized theyre quite pricey. Which is unfortunate cuz theyre very close to us and we have 3 vehicles.

        They are the best!!! They could've charged an arm and a leg, but didn't. They are integral, and good people. I'm a teacher, and we had a hard week at home. Mike's genuineness, and integrity, were very timely, and appreciated. We will go to the shop again and again.

      Hello Moses. Thank you for the feedback. I tried to call but was unable to reach you. I WAS able to speak to your wife regarding this visit. Obviously these are two words we never like to see on our review page and I apologize for the way she felt. Obviously this was never our intention as I told her and offered my apologies. There was a rather heated discussion between your wife and the service manager about why we would not give her a price for a part and labor over the phone. The conversation could have gone better which was discussed. This was not a matter of would not but a matter of could not without all of the vehicle information which was not provided. Our goal is to provide the most accurate price as nobody likes surprises. When the conversation was not moving in the right direction the service manager asked your wife to have you call because you are our regular customer and are familiar with our service and processes. I did feel as though our conversation went well and we were able to discuss the concerns with the vehicle, possible fix, price range and why he did not provide a price over the phone. It does not appear to be the case in this instance but sometimes the customer is chasing the wrong part and repair. We try to be as helpful, accurate and transparent as possible. We are only human and sometimes we may miss the mark. This was not a matter of not providing the information because you are a woman. By reading the reviews below you will see that we are not prejudice or disrepectful to women as stated. Wait, one of the owners IS a woman!
