American Shifter Company

Long story short, ordered a white shifter ball with one word on it, with five letters and its so small you need glasses to read it, and the print was the wrong color. After being instructed to make a picture of what I wanted on a diagonal (cause diagonal would be slightly larger) and send it in and they would use it and send a second shifter ball, when it arrived they didnt follow through with what they promised. It was the same print as the first with only the plot being fixed! There should be a disclaimer of the fact that the picture on the knob will only be one inch no matter how you dress it in the options menu. Also Eric was very rude to my wife on several phone calls, and went as far as pretending to be some one else on the second call, and got mad when she called him out on it. This could be a nice idea for those who love to customize there cars but not through this company. The customer service is as bad as there product is, would have rated a half star it it would have allowed! It sad when Chinese company has better customer service than an American company.

During my ordering process with American Shifter I encountered a rude salesman, at first I thought it might have been me but after the 2nd call I realized the salesman was a jerk. I decided that they can keep there knob and Ill spend my money elsewhere. I was surprised to find that there is a lot of competition in this market. I found a nice company with a knob shifter that Im happy with and no attitude.

Shift knobs can real set your ride apart from the rest. Being unique is key and that is true down to even the littlest details. I like the big selection they have here. Custom etch work too adds that personal touch you can't get with a store bought shift knob. I was able to get The Eagle, Globe & Anchor symbol etched onto a sparkly old school style shift knob. Looks so cool. Thank you!
