After I talked to Lonnie about my not so easy project car (LS swap, air ride & disc brake conversion in an older uncommon car) I decided the wait to get into Carolina Kustoms was worth it. I wanted the job done correctly, the first time & felt they were the guys for the job & I was right. Lonnie & his staff are extremely knowledgeable, honest & straight forward. I appreciated that he communicated with me (sometimes daily) throughout the build, about parts lead times, build duration, issues, budget & general conversation about the build. He spent the time to make sure that the parts I provided were correct for the application & helped me source missing parts cost effectively. The work performed clearly demonstrated pride in work & attention to detail. The result was exactly as I desired, an old car that drives & performs like a modern car. If an issue came up, mine or his, he was IMMEDIATELY responsive & ALWAYS stood behind his work, no bs. Brought in car with new engine nit running properly. Was able to diagnose within minutes. Gave a great temporary fix and ordered needed parts to complete the job. Very nice owner and employees including their dog. Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Although I didn't end up having the guys and CK work on my car because there were 4-6 months out and I wanted to enjoy it before summer. I did end up purchasing a bunch of parts from them. Great pricing and fast shipping.. some parts were hard to find and Lonnie took the time to locate them for me from a different company, even though he wouldn't make any money on them. He also took the time to help me figure out my rear end measurements as well. Great guys and I'm looking forward to them working my car soon.
