Bridge City Appraisal

We contracted with Bridge City to do an appraisal on our property. It ended up being a rather complicated appraisal as there were several compliance and IRS steps that Jodie had to complete. She did in the most thoughtful, accurate and professional way possible. She was so easy to work with and I would highly recommend her for a through and accurate appraisal.

My husband and I were required to have an appraisal done prior to refinancing our manufactured home. We did not have a choice as to whom it would be appraised by, but was informed by our broker we would be contacted by an appraiser soon. The next day I was contacted by Jodie Argubright of Bridge City Appraisal. She was very flexible with her schedule, and was able to accommodate our needs. I was just shocked when I was told the cost of the appraisal would be $975.00. But once Jodie explained to me what the appraisal intaled and why the cost was so high, I was less upset. On the day of the appraisal, Jodie arrived right on time, mask and gloves on and properly dressed for the country mud and wet conditions. She was very friendly but still very professional. She explained what she was doing as she took notes, measurements and photos. Jodie was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions. When Jodie was finished assessing my house and property, she told me she would have the results of the appraisal within the next week. (this was on Thursday). But Jodie had the results of our appraisal to us within 4 days, and we received our appraisal Monday evening. It is very thourough and the value of our home was even higger than we thought it would be. In today's crazy world of limited contact and social distancing, it has been my experience that the quality of service you receive has decreased way to much. Even from the businesses I held in such high regard and had never had a complaint about before the Covid restrictions. It was so nice to see such a high quality of service and pride in what you do as Jodie did. I have already told my neighbors, friends and family about Bridge City Appraisal.
