Saltwood Apartments

Rented an apartment online from out of state. Saltwood staff was awesome, communicated all of the concessions & amenities up front, and then made the leasing process super easy!

Overall the units are beautiful, but we have had significant issues since moving in that have yet to be resolved and that the building/property management refuses to compensate us for. We have had an ongoing maintenance request for the past 13 months in our unit. We have also had multiple break in attempts to our own apartment unit and there have been multiple break ins to the garage since moving in. Something in the building is constantly not working, whether it be a treadmill, the bath and spa amenities, the garage door. The building does not feel safe and I am disappointed in how Saltwoods management company handles tenant concerns.

We have been with Promtheus for almost 4 years in total now, between different Portland locations. They have always been very professional and nice buildings. All of the staff is very nice, from leasing office to maintenance. Overall, we have been happy. There are a few things to be desired for though: it would be nice to have more community events that include the entire community, safety concerns being addressed more thoroughly, and reserved parking without having to compete in a competitive online system. I do recommend living here, the things I mentioned would just elevate the experience. Also, the nearby construction can be annoying but we knew that moving in.

I moved cross country from Brooklyn a few weeks ago into Saltwood! I am so happy with my choice. To decide where to live for this huge move, I came to Portland last month and researched and toured probably 15-20 buildings across Portland with high ratings, community, beautiful spaces, pet friendly vibes, in lively neighborhoods. I almost signed with the Carson (their partner building), but something didn't feel right. I looked at the Saltwood the next day and this stunning building with gorgeous chill design, airy spaces, a ROOFTOP GARDEN (which they give us the veggies from!) and a sauna and plunge pool -- my tour with Marcus was wonderful. I got the sense that this building is very thoughtfully designed, run, and well built, and after moving in -- I can confirm it is all of those things. After seeing the Saltwood, I signed a lease the next day - it ran so smoothly, Sydney was very helpful! and I love it here - I cannot hear my neighbors at all, tho I have already made some friends in the building - the communal spaces are stunning, and Marcus and Sydney have been super helpful and kind with everything! I'm thrilled with my move and my choice -- I feel super at home here.

I recently moved into this apartment complex in Portland, Oregon, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. From the moment I first visited the property, I knew that this was the place for me. The complex is beautifully designed, with modern amenities and spacious units that are perfect for comfortable living. Sydney + the rest of the staff are super friendly, helpful, and always available to answer any questions or concerns that I may have. They made the move-in process so easy and stress-free. The location is ideal, with easy access to all the best restaurants, shops, and attractions in Portland. I especially love being able to walk to some of my favorite spots in the city, and the proximity to public transportation makes getting around a breeze. Overall, I highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking for a great place to call home in Portland. It truly deserves a five-star rating for all its wonderful features and excellent customer service.
