To start with, the leasing team Dacia, Megan and Chiyo are wonderful, helpful and very professional. The apartment is very clean, renovated and beyond expectations. Very safe, quiet and elegant. There is a park right in-front of the building, and few steps to a wonderful river. Well there are so many other beautiful things to mention like farmers market every Thursday, the The management host events at the building like pumpkin carving and halloween treats which it is lovely. Couldn’t be happier , thank you Dacia, Megan and Chiyo for everything

I had the pleasure of moving into the Griffis SouthWaterfront by pure accident; I was scheduled to tour an adjoining property but was denied access due to COVID protocol, I had to wait my turn being that I was an hour early. That was the best thing to ever happen to me, I walked next door and was greeted with open arms by the property manager Dacia Branch! I toured the property and signed my lease the same day...she was very warm, inviting, professional and answered all my questions; the unit was exactly what I was looking for, I just didn't know it:). Thank you so much for helping me find my home and a big Texas hug, for making time to make me feel welcome!

I've lived here more than a year, renewed my lease this summer, and intend to stay indefinitely. This is a well maintained building for both the building and apartments. In addition, they continue with ongoing improvements such as new lighting and carpets in the hallways, new apt doors and locks, upgraded appliances and new garage doors to name a few. Griffis is right in the center of the S. Waterfront neighborhood with a dozen eating and drinking places within a block including Blue Star Donuts, Sweetheart Pizza, and Growler Guys which are all in the building. The streetcar stops outside the building and I use it extensively. The proximity of the extensive river trail network was also a factor in choosing this building as well as the beautiful park right out front. Overall, this is neighborhood is an urban gem.

I am currently attending heritage school of interior design and am looking for a studio that isn’t far from downtown. I decided to stroll around south waterfront and ended up at Griffis. I didn’t have an appointment but I was greeted by Megan who was happy to accommodate me. She was very bubbly and had the most personality out of the surrounding buildings I had toured. The views from this complex, both city and river are beautiful!!! It’s right across from Elizabeth Caruthers park which is where I do yoga with my weekend group, so it’s perfect for me! It’s also a few steps from a walking trail on the waterfront! It’s about 2 miles out of downtown but the neighborhood has a safer feel than city living! I am so happy they were able to take me without an appointment and look forward to submitting an application.
