Clermont, this is extremely unsafe and illegal. I could have been killed while delivering a package to this apartment complex. Anyone traveling on 143rd would think that this is a driveway because you have created what looks like a driveway, but is actually just a giant road hazard. There is a 6 inch curb between the road and this driveway. If if I had not spotted this unmarked curb at the last minute, the accident would have been 100% your fault. It is illegal for you to maintain this access road onto your property for the public to use in this condition- that is, with a random unmarked 6-in curb. You need to block this off.

Just moved out and cant express how glad I am to leave. It was a fine starter apartment, for me and my partner but progressively got worse the more time we spent there. There was a giant gap in the lining of our front that let in the cold all winter long, and all sorts of bugs throughout the seasons. Mold grew in every single corner of every window, and even in our bathroom due to a non-functioning fan. We expressed concerns about this through an email and were simply told to use Bleach to treat it. In the response email we asked if this would affect our move out costs because this needed to be professionally treated and they stated that it would simply be normal wear and tear of apartment living. Our specific washer had the water pipes switched so whenever I would try to use cold water for laundry it would come out steaming hot, shrinking our clothes. Our dryer took at least 3 cycles to actually dry one load of laundry, and made so much noise we couldnt watch tv in the living room. On move in our microwave door was cracked, and all along the borders of walls you could see holes they tried to cover up by slapping some beige rug down throughout the apartment. There was in our specific building H a wasp infestation during the summer, which made the outside patio unusable. The pool and spa(jacuzzi) are constantly under maintenance. You have maybe 5 free parking spots for three buildings and are constant walking in the dark halfway across to get home. Forget about it if you work nights, youll constantly be having to walk or loop around to find parking far away. Move out charges were over $200 for some paint and carpet cleaning, even though in our move out inspection the guy said they would be ripping up the carpet anyways. On the same hand it seems really unfair to be charged this much for an apartment I had for less than a year. Meanwhile these standard fees did not apply to another resident who moved out and lived in their unit for 4 years. Seems these standard charges only apply if they dont like you. Meanwhile they were more than happy touring new applicants by my apartment to show as a model apartment due to my spectacular display of plants outside, which they always commented on. Charging people on top of their deposit for standard wear and tear is unreasonable, while I left a spotless apartment and worked hard to maintain its cleanliness. Also mold is not habitable and shouldnt be an excuse to charge a standard cleaning fee. Just a heads up if you move out dont clean anything clearly it doesnt matter, and they will still charge.

do not move here!!! management mishandled and misplaced our written agreement that they sent us for a carport included in our lease and back charged us for 6 months of parking. we presented the document they sent us with our signatures on it that we sent back to them and they said they never signed it so you better pay. on move out we left it spotless and they went ahead and not only didnt give us our deposit, but charged us $230 extra and called it standard. the pool and hot tub area were closed for maintenance over 70% of the year we lived here. our bathroom grew black mold on the ceiling and when we filed a maintenance request, we were told they cant do anything about the nonfunctional fan and that we should just bleach it ourselves. bugs and spiders are going to be your roommates if youre on ground floor, even if you get it treated, so good luck. our stove range was so old it had a wind up clock on it, which does at least make for a fun conversation starter! both bedrooms have no lighting in them either, so hopefully you have nice lamps. parking is a nightmare, which means youll at least get good exercise walking from the leasing office to your unit. we moved in last year straight out of school because it was cheaper than most other options, but we quickly found out why. the rent also increased over $200 since we moved in last year, so now that Im settled in my career, weve since left last month when our lease was up.

So tony the apartment manager at the clermont apartments that are located at 1801 Nw 143ave. In portland Oregon is one of the worst apartment manager i have ever came across. He tries to double charge people for rent that is on ssi. Tony also tries to evict people if he has an issue with them and if he can't evict you he wont renew your lease. I have shone nothing but respect for tony. In february i brought down my girlfriends money order for rent to the office bc she has difficulties walking and the assisant manager stated that since Amanda forgot to sign it that i could and the following day the manager tony complained about it. So tony couldn't evict me after at least 6 evictions he didn't renew my lease. Then i moved out and when they checked my apartment charged me over 1800 for what was wrong with my apartment. Now i have to take the clermont apartments to court so i don't get charged. People that are moving my advice is record everything in your apartment and take videos so they don't over charge you.

Maintained very quick on getting your request done quickly and professionally and are very friendly and great group of guys. The assist manager tayrran (I hope I spelt her name right) and the manager Tony is probley one of the greatest management team I have came across even in the state of Iowa. They are both friendly and go out of there way too get to know all the residents here at the clermont. Tony will work with you on any issue or problem that you have and they always have a smile on there faces. The management team makes you feel comfortable and safe here at the clermont for everyone including pets. I would definitely recommend the clermont to anyone including my friends and family. And to the management team I want to thank you for being understanding and also your patience with me and my partner. You guys are a God sent. So come out to the clermont apartments or look them up for availability and you won't be disappointed.
