I miss this place! I lived here for three years before the renovation. Absolutely lovely place... great location, (used to be) affordable. Definitely miss the balcony access. A special building that I hold dear to my heart!

the building and the units absolutely stunning! to make it an even better place to live; Paul (on site contact) goes above and beyond, is really friendly, diligent, and passionate about the buildings history as well as its tenants. The apartment itself is a large studio, with a walk-in closet, beautiful bathroom, beautiful kitchen, juliette balcony, and great views! you could rent a studio just about anywhere in town and most likely not get what youre paying for, ie- a nice looking but cheaply built boxy little room with no charm. but with the sovereign every detail adds an old world luxurious charm. The finishes are all well built, knobs are real brass, counters are actual quartz, the drawers in the dressing room have been there since the beginning (cause they last), and the ceiling is tall with crown molding. i can go on and on about this place, everyday i wake up and cant believe this is my home. if youre ever given the chance to rent here - DO IT.

My son was in college and stayed here for two years. Paul and the management there and the maintenance crew were wonderful for the entire two years. They were very responsive to any concerns that he had or I had as a cosigner for the property. The place is always kept up and very very secure. My son felt very safe there the entire time. He has recently moved, and we came up and helped him clean the apartment. Paul the manager loaned us some cleaning equipment and as always was very gracious kind and cordial. Just a 100% top-notch good experience. John got his $500 deposit back complete. I just want to thank everybody there for being so wonderful. The location is close to just about everything. Theres no parking garage so you have to find parking somewhere else which is an added expense. But thats true in any large city anywhere in the world.
