It looks like I'm writing the first review of new Lowell location on East Burnside.  This store is larger/roomier than Maya's last shop on Broadway and features more selection and even more interesting curation and display.Whenever I come to Portland, I make it a deliberate point to stop in, take a look at what Maya has found, and have a nice chat.  I've also supplemented my visits with occasional mail orders, making separate purchases from her artists (like Carson Terry) and following LowellShopGallery on Instagram.  This time, I took home a nice crafted end table (that luckily fit into my large duffel suitcase), and a few cool metal art items of which she excels in finding. It's hard to explain, but Maya's artistic taste in the art she chooses and displays, and the space itself just resonates with me.  I further appreciate her rare combination of friendliness, knowledge, firmness, and reasonable pricing. I know that the next visit will always please and surprise me.

A true gem of a shop full of folk art, unique vintage, and contemporary artists work you cant find elsewhere. Theres a back story for every piece that the owner selects and its all so thoughtfully put together. Highly recommend
