Tried to set up an arrangement with thse guys like 4 times, over the course of more than a month, to where we in JROTC here at Oregon City HS could pay for a batch of haircuts for some of our troopers who cannot afford them....to where the trooper could just come in, show their school ID that could be compared to a list the shop would have, and we in JROTC would pay for it. Every time I came by, there was some new excuse as to why they couldnt do it right now...."dont have the cards"....."need to have the manager call you and set this up"..."havent heard back from the owner yet"....."the manager isnt here today"....."no one else is here but I'll leave a message for the owner"...one excuse after another, didnt matter......"got abducted by aliens"..."dog ate my homework"....you name it. And each time I would leave my name and number and/or my business card and ask to please have the owner/manager call me so we could set this up.....never once got anything even remotely resembling a callback. Not once. So....finally I said the hell with it. Im not going to "chase them down to give them our business". They had a chance to support our national-championship battalion (that does HUNDREDS of hours of community service every year in OC and the surrounding area) , and they flat-out bombed out. There is no "nice way to say it". We will find another barber shop elsewhere who values the military and service organizations like ours.

The guy that was there cut my grandsons hair he is 5. He was so patient and did such a good job. Even with little guys moving, he did a great job.
