Great place to camp if you dont mind snakes, saw many bull snakes and only one rattle snake. This is also where I got educated on what poison sumac looks like so know your plants. It was worse than poison ivy and looked like a weed with a seed ball on top about 3 to 4ft tall and dead at the time of year we camped. No potable water and a 15 mile drive from highway on washboard roads

The 15 miles of rough road make this a hard place to camp. It took 45+ minutes to get to a site (we never made it all the way down to the camping area). The mountains are beautiful about 13 miles in. Playground: No restroom let, no playground, we kept our glory on leash. Cow Patties everywhere as well as stickers!
