      image WARNING!!!!.....Go here to DIE! Nobody reads your blood draws before giving you POISON! They don't know how to give an IV without multiple attempts. Thank you wwvic for sending me to the ER because and causing me more health problems that I DIDN'T have before being OVERDOSED by YOU. Patients: do your own due diligence. DON'T take what the Doctor says as the FINAL ANSWER!! Use MyChart to read your blood work. Ask questions about what you don't know. Always take someone who is mentally sound with you to your appointments...ALWAYS!!!!!

      We regret that you had a negative experience, we try very hard to treat all of our patients with the utmost care. It is our policy to consult lab results before preparing individualized chemo treatments and to check those mixtures multiple time to ensure saftey. We're sorry for any discomfort you experienced during the infusion process. Our highly trained and experienced nurses do their best to insert the IV's on the first attempt, but due to the effects of chemo and other drugs, or simply individual variation from person to person, it can be very challenging. You're absolutely right in asserting that patients should ask questions and check their results. We highly encourage that as part of a shared-decision making process as well as including a trusted family member or friend to accompany patients for support.
