Rusty Hinges Massage Therapy

I have Young Onset Parkinson's Disease and regular massages are a huge factor in fighting the stiffness and soreness that is part of my bouquet of symptoms. We moved to Newport in September and found Nick right away. My wife and I both use him and love his services. He customizes the experience based on our limitations and condition and I walk away from every single session feeling better than when I walked in. I have no hesitation recommending him.

A few weeks ago I started having some pretty intense pain in my hip and lower back so I scheduled an appointment for a massage from Nick to see if it would help. He asked me a few questions, worked on me, then after the massage, recommended a few stretches to do(and avoid) and sent me on my way feeling much more relaxed! Before the massage Id say I felt about 40-50% and 4 days later I feel like 95%. Super happy client!

Ive been a client at Rusty Hinges for about six months and it has literally changed my life. Nick has expansive knowledge of the body and is a master of pain remediation. He was able to treat (and subsequently prevent) sciatica pain that had been bothering me for months; just completely eliminated the issue through massage. Ive also suffered from trigeminal neuralgia for over a year due to a major surgery and while Ill always have pain, it significantly decreases for about a week post massage, which is the most relief Ive had in a year. Above all, Nick is professional, respectful, and compassionate. If youre looking for a massage therapist, stop. Hes your guy! If I could rate a thousand stars, I would!

Nick has a real gift for getting at the root of the pain and helping you find long term relief. Hes also fantastic at showing you exercises and stretches to help you between sessions.

Im brand new to Newport just moved to town. Found Nick through my gym FTNS Newport, and Im so glad that I called and set up the appointment. I have done massage therapy with a few different therapist a few different times in my life and by far Nick was the best. He absolutely understands the needs of an athlete or someone in training on how to help recover faster and perform better. Gave great advice obviously understands what hes doing. I would definitely recommend Nick as a massage therapist to anyone looking for someone really good. I am looking forward to working with him for a long time. Thanks Nick!
