I urge you to look elsewhere for public education. Especially for special education services. I have a child with special needs, and I don't/ can't recommend Oregon Charter Academy. As a parent who has school-aged children, I hope not all of your teachers are alike. I am an Oregonian born and raised and never thought I would see so much open unsolicited hate from a teacher. I have had a terrible experience with a Mrs. Kristin Wise. I was approached by her on social media, I have no idea who she is. She has been harassing and bullying me because I don't think the same as she does. I have asked her multiple times to leave me alone, yet she continues because I don't believe in sharing adult information such as s_x_al orientation with CHILDREN. She can also be found mocking individuals (again strangers to her) for their faith and their beliefs. This is far from classy, and I fear what she might do if a student or parent doesn't share her own beliefs. Will they get the assistance and care they need? She has also shared information publicly on social media regarding her students. I wouldn't want her to be my child's teacher. Spreading students' private information on the internet for all to see isn't appropriate behavior at all. It should be frowned upon by any educator, private Information should stay private no matter the circumstances. Disgusting behavior by an educator in the public school system. I urge you to protect our youth from such a hateful woman.
