        Be sure you know what your AAA membership covers BEFORE you call them for tow services. The AAA driver picked up our car to take to the body shop, instead of having the body shop pick up the car and charging our insurance a monster tow fee. Later, we get a call from the tow company saying we owed them money for the tow, saying that AAA only covered the 1st 3 miles, then the charge is $5/mile. Neither the driver or AAA dispatch EVER mentioned that our plan wouldn't cover the extra mileage, otherwise we would have let the body shop tow it. We won't be calling AAA again.
