When flying these days, you can't always rely on the airlines to get you where you want to go as you planned. What we can count on is Bear Creek Taxi to get us to the airport and pick us up no matter what a mess the airlines make of ours or their schedules.

Today was an experience that I have to share because of the extraordinary way Rob (owner /dispatch) and Annabelle (driver) @ Bear Creek Taxi took care of their passenger's needs. I work at the medford airport and this lovely (senior) passenger came to check in for her flight only to realize that she had dropped her cell phone (and ID) in the back seat of the taxi. She remembered that the driver, Annabelle had given her a business card. So I called Bear Creek Taxi and spoke to Rob, who radioed Annabelle, who looked in the back seat of her car and came directly back to the airport to give this sweet woman her phone. She was nearly in tears, knowing that without her ID (that was with her phone) she couldn't fly! All's well that ends well. Our passenger is on her way to visit her daughter in California and Rob and Annabelle are ready to transport the next customer. There are truly wonderful people in Medford, today I met 3 more ! I arrived at Medford Oregon airport on February 10, 2024. I booked a rental car a week in advance and paid with confirmation number. I had the worst experience with an Avis representative. Needless to say I did not get a rental car. I begin to panic because I was an unfamiliar territory. I was 2500 miles away from my home. No one at the airport would help me. The Avis representative called The airport police because I was sitting there making phone calls, trying to figure out how I was going to get to Crescent city California. I flew into Oregon, and my intentions was to drive to Crescent city, but thats not what happened. I tried to Uber or Lyft, but realize that was no Uber or Lyft in the area. I google taxi services and Bear Creek taxi was the first taxi service that popped up on my Google search. I spoke with Rob who was very understanding and professional. I explained my situation, and without hesitation He dispatched a driver that was Nearby. He instructed me to go out in the front of the airport and wait for a lady taxi driver in an SUV. OMG!!!! The taxi driver name was Annabelle. She was extremely professional, friendly, understanding, and courteous. I was so upset and what had happened to me at the airport Annabelle words consoled me. She also would constantly ask me was I comfortable. The SUV and her driving was Comfortable, safe, perfect and soothing. She drove me from Medford, Oregon all the way to Crescent city California. As Annabelle was driving me to my destination I begin to cry because I didnt have transportation once I arrive to Crescent city To go back-and-forth to work. Annabelle made a suggestion that I could rent a U-Haul pick up truck. Also, although Annabel did not have to. She stayed with me and helped me obtain the key To the U-Haul truck and place my things in the truck and make sure I was OK before she left to drive back to Medford. There should be more people in the world like Annabelle. It was more than just business, and collecting money from me, she genuinely cared. Annabelle was an angel from God because without her that day I dont know what I would have done. Annabelle you are greatly appreciated and I thank you 100 times. I cant thank her enough. You are truly a blessing.
