If you care at all about someone DO NOT send them here!! My Dad who lived alone fell and hurt his knee. Because of a childhood hip injury and now a knee injury he couldn't walk. He was sent here by the hospital for rehab then was supposed to go back home once he could bear wait on his knee. I called him the next day and he said they were rude. I tried calling him multiple times everyday but nobody would answer the phone. After 3 days I got ahold of him and he said that they weren't doing rehab, he wasn't getting food regularly and they threatened to take away his portable urine bottle because he had spilled some trying to use it. I called his case worker to see if he could go somewhere else but there weren't any beds available. I called multiple times the next day and got no answer. My cousin who lives closer went over there and told them I had been trying to call. They told her he was sleeping and they would call me. They called me the next day to tell me he was dehydrated and I asked to talk to him and was told he was sleeping. They were going to give him an IV to get fluids in him (because obviously they hadn't been giving him any water). They called that evening and said he was doing better but still sleeping. The next morning they called and said he had sepsis and wanted to know if I wanted them to give him IV antibiotics or send him to the hospital. I had him sent to the hospital. I left my house to go to the hospital, part way there the hospital called and said he had severe sepsis from a bladder infection, was severely dehydrated and they weren't sure he would make it until I got there. When I got to the hospital they said all his organs were shutting down and there was nothing they could do. They put him in comfort care until he passed away. When I went to get his belongings they gave me a bag with his things mixed with someone else's stuff. I truly believe this place is responsible for ignoring my dad to death. All the reviews on their website with more than 1 star are reviews written by their employees. If I could give negative stars I would.

My 91 year old mother was sent to Hearthstone after having spent a week at RRMC for blood clots. She was there for 20 days in Nov/Dec 2023. We found the staff to be wonderful. She did PT several times a day and she loved the food so much she gained 6 lbs. I am not an employee of Hearthstone and I don't know anyone who is. We had a great experience and my mom is back home and living independently.

Its the WORST WORST WORST place to take your loved ones or yourself. All the 5 star comments are from employees! Please trust all the 1 star comments. Its that horrible. The level of care is disgusting. I get it. Short staff and all, but its how they treat patients. This place feels & smells like death upon entrance! Update: I did call the compliance line. Recorded line, left a message with no call back. Going on month 2! Im not surprised.

I have a broken pelvis. place is way under staffed. I have been here since Saturday 16 Dec, and haven't seen a doctor yet. The special recovery plan so far is getting out of bed walking with a walker. Try and calling a nurse, wait 30 minute to 2 hours. In pain, good luck stingy as all get out with pain medication. Like your stuff, thay don't care, no inventory done yet. If you have a loved one, keep them far away from here. Update December 21 1:50 pm FYI calling compliance line will get you a recording that doesn't call you back.

DONT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE! THIS PLACE IS NEGLIGENT! This facility is completely lacking in all aspects. I have witnessed multiple violations, including not having a sign on the front door stating th facility has a current COVID outbreak, I was inside this facility visiting, and was inside for over 10 minutes before being told about the COVID outbreak and being offered a mask. This place gives all rehabilitated facilities a bad name! This place has definitely left a disgusting taste in my mouth!
