Siskiyou Montessori

I highly recommend Siskiyou Montessori and teacher Ms. Anusha. This has been an extraordinary early learning experience for my child and has exceeded my expectations. Anusha demonstrated structure, patience, and kindness to my son for the three years he attended. We were so fortunate to be a part of this community and highly recommend to families looking to support pre kindergarten skills.

Ms Anusha and Siskiyou Montessori are truly special. Our first born son attended and we loved it so much we secured a spot for our second born. Ms Anusha has a true devotion to teaching and helping all the Montessori friends blossom to their best potential. The friendships, education and life skills that come out of Siskiyou Montessori are irreplaceable. I have recommended Siskiyou Montessori to so many friends and will continue to do so. We should all be so lucky to get to experience/learn from Ms Anusha and Siskiyou Montessori.

I highly recommend Siskiyou Montessori and Ms. Anusha to any family who is looking for a nurturing yet structured school for their little ones! I have two children ages 3 and 5 who have been/are students of Ms. Anusha's. She is wonderful with kids, has a calm demeanor and is great with communication both with kids and parents. You can tell how invested she is in each of her students and their overall happiness. She holds high standards and expectations of her students and their families because she truly wants everyone to succeed. The students have a balance of outdoor play, individualized lesson plans, and time to learn real-life skills. The classroom is clean, and full of sunlight! I appreciate her small classroom size and the love and passion she so clearly has for what she does. My son just graduated from Siskiyou Montessori and will be starting Kindergarten this year. Yesterday he asked me if he would still be able to come to pick up his little sister at school even when he's in Kinder so he could say "hi" to Miss Anusha and his friends who will still be there. We've had a great experience with Siskiyou Montessori and recommend this school and Ms. Anusha 110%!

Siskiyou Montessori is amazing. We have three children we have put through the preschool the youngest just graduating this year. We have been there for 7 straight years. It is so difficult to find a place where you can feel safe leaving your children much less a place that actually prepares them for future schooling. Ms. Anusha practices Montessori principals. Children not only learn preschool skills but go far beyond making them more than ready to just skip kindergarten! Montessori also includes life skills like pouring water into a cup, cleaning up after yourself, reducing waste, speaking respectfully to others, and understanding limits and boundaries. Could not be happier with the time we spent there and would recommend to anyone who is looking for safe place for their children to learn and grow. School ended a few weeks ago and my littlest tells me often how much she misses Ms Anusha. Its hard to leave the school behind but I know my kiddos have been given everything they need to be successful moving forward.

We made a huge mistake! We were excited to try Montessori School for our daughter but this is NOT IT! Montessori itself has no quality control or accreditation, so anyone can call themselves a teacher. Our child joined this year after a long and positive interview process, then in a matter of days was made to feel unwelcome, and eventually kicked out for minor self-expressions like wanting to be first in a line. What a joke. Anusha was happy to take our money but did not uphold the primary Montessori principle of following the child. Also only one teacher for 10 kids, has to be much better for the extremely high cost. So disappointed and sad for what our daughter was put through here. We feel misled and will try to find a much better school and teacher!
