Medford BLM withdrew the Poor Windy Timber Sale. This logging project was featured by the national Climate Forests campaign as one of the worst examples of mature and old-growth logging in the US. Medford BLM stopped it from happening. Thank you, Medford BLM! Had this Sale continued, this project would have logged thousands of acres of these essential carbon-storing giants, threatening imperiled wildlife and clean drinking water for communities. Again, thank you, Medford BLM!

The gentleman working at the front desk named Bret was the nicest and most helpful person! We were in search of some public and safe BLM land to shoot on. He was very enthusiastic and positive in pointing us in the right direction. He even printed us a map and highlighted the easiest directions for out-of-towners! First class government service right there!! Thanks Bret!
