Fircrest Senior Living

Fircrest and their staff was a Godsend for our family, from the management being efficient and communicating regularly with us to the care givers taking an honest interest with our family and the other residents. The social worker who helped us through a most difficult decision, move and getting settled was top notch. Our family really appreciates the level of care our aunt and uncle received and the love they were shown during their final years there. Thank you!

Lacking in compassion, knowledge, cleanliness and overall care. In the beginning, Fircrest Memory Care was a supportive haven for our dear family member amid sudden need. A couple of staff members were not only friendly but also genuinely attentive. However, Fir Crest has far more inattentive team members, who are unwilling or incapable. Unfortunately, these were the individuals with the most regular contact with our loved one. On one occasion, we arrived to find she had fallen forward in her wheelchair in the dining hall. No one had noticed and we have no idea how long she had been in that position. On other occasions, we found her without clothing on, despite the fact 3 employees were nearby on their phones. One of these instances, she merely wanted the matching top to her pants. Despite our daily visits, laundry care, and room cleaning, we often discovered missing or unfamiliar clothing, including clothing she was wearing. Meal provision was sloppy, and personal care, including bathing, was inconsistent. During dinner one evening, there was a physical altercation between 2 staff members that ended up including more staff members out in front of the facility. The inadequate attention to our vulnerable family member left us dissatisfied, expecting a much higher standard. After our family member's passing, the absence of condolences or even a simple smile from any staff member during the room clearing left us feeling as if we were invisible. One final note, the director's office was just a few doors down, and not once did we meet or were greeted by her. She tolerates poor behaviors in the part of her staff.

This place don't even deserve 1 star. My Aunt and Uncle were there. My mother lives in Ohio every time she called there the staff was unhelpful and rude. They would not let her talk to her brother, they said he would call her back 3 days later they put him on the phone they rushed the conversation along. Today my Mother called to check on him and was told he died 2 weeks ago. No one called or said a word. Avoid this place at ALL cost.

Horrible place to work. The caregivers are all rude and only care about the money they make. They don't care about the residents. The boss only wore a mask during COVID when she knew visitors were coming. Medical care is ignored or pushed off as "not that bad" when it actually should have been addressed ASAP or the resident should've been taken to the ER.

Residents are all very loving and caring loved seeing their smiling faces. Not the greatest work environment tbh so many rumors are spread, gossip type of work environment, favorites and the main factor they are forgetting about is the proper care for the residents. No rules apply!!! No communication is being adressed.
