Its not the destination its the journey. I knew it is going to be a major challenge to find and purchase my next home in the middle of winter, in January, and during significant market economic instability. I needed a professional Real estate expert with deep knowledge in the Portland metro and specifically in my desired neighborhoods. Someone who is internally motivated to take on this challenge. Someone who is poised, confident and a buyers advocate and advisor. During my search and vetting process of various brokers, I came across Carissa Ferro. Right away I knew she would be the one to help me attain most of my wants. A review of her background and what others have experienced working with Carissa, and I was sold. Carissa was the only real estate broker I reached out to, and I am delighted that I did. As a busy professional and a father, I had little to no time to spend on searching, researching and the entire process of home inspection. I needed Carissa to take the lead, keep me informed and she did not disappoint. Carissa knew every detail of every transaction and communication we had with potential sellers and their agent. Carissas process was to discuss and inform me of what is coming up, realize the steps we are planning, execute on the decisions and follow up with the outcome. Most intriguing was the daily and weekly updates as I continued to focus on work and family. Carissa is brilliant and she has exceeded my expectations in so many ways. Because of Carissa and her professionalism, consistency, and knowledge, I was able to smooth sail through the process. The journey was incredibly amazing, and the end destination was my ultimate prize. Carissas commitment and due diligence made the difference, and she helped me find my perfect home. I have close friends who are real estate brokers, but my choice was to partner with Carissa, and I am grateful that I did. Carissa is a fantastic realtor. She was always available and exceeded my wifes and Is expectations. She made moving back to portland a breeze in the crazy house market of 2022. Not only did she get us into a few houses pre-open house but we got our very first offer accepted. Could not recommend highly enough!

Carissa was a dream to work with. She took the time to understand my needs and my level of expertise with the market (which was non-existent) and explained all the little nuisances in detail and with patience. When we found the right house, she was immediately available to walk the property and that same night she had drafted all the documentation for an offer on the property. Things moved really fast from that point on, but from inspections to walkthroughs, she was there with me all the way until I got keys in my hands. I feel that Carissa went above and beyond her duties to make sure I was comfortable with every decision I was making, and where there where doubts, she made sure I had enough time to think things through. We closed on time, and I cant thank her enough for her assistance. I dont think it would have been possible to pull this off in our tight timeline without her help and guidance. Buying a house was much easier than I thought with Carissa on my team!
