Overpriced company and terrible service

We've been with this Farmers agency for 20 plus years. We insure multiple properties and autos. The agency owner, Erin McCulloch, is super attentive to our needs, she's highly professional and she has a terrific team working with her. Here's the thing about insurance - no news is usually good news. We only hear from them when they have a product that will save us money. They don't try to up-sell or convince us to buy crazy add-ons. They simply let us know if there's a way to get a discount on one of our policies. I can't say enough good about Erin and Chad and their entire team. You will NOT be disappointed if you work with them. Always responsive and caring.

My family and I have been with Farmers Insurance for years and we couldn't be happier with their level of service.    I've never had an issue in reaching anyone at this office and whoever answers the phone is always friendly and helpful.   Insurance is expensive no matter what company you go with and Farmers has a good reputation.   I've shopped around and not worth changing to save a few bucks.   Thanks!    B. Took over my policy from a retiring agent. The premium on my home insurance policy renewal was 41% more than prior year. I called to question the increase and was told it was due to "claims this past year". When I said I didn't have any claims, I was then advised there was "also legislation". (no further explanation of legislation was offered) I told her I was going to take my business elsewhere. However the agency did not let it expire on the date stated on the policy. Instead they renewed it and billed me. When I called 3 weeks later I was told I owe for those 16 days and they have now sent me to collections. For $47.34 Today I called at 3:45pm and they hung up after connecting. When I immediately called back, it went into the after hours answering service. The only reason I give 1 star is because it is required to submit the post

Erin doesn't return phone calls.  She puts you off to other people and doesn't follow through.  Not good when you find out you really don't have insurance when you need it.  She is just full of excuses.
