I literally cannot say enough good things about Katia and her work. When I met Katia I was seeking relief for some long-term physical issues. I was a Structural Integration/Rolfing newbie, but it intrigued me, and I decided to give it a shot to see if it could help me. I will admit, I was a bit nervous at first. I am not a huge fan of deep-tissue massages, and I was a little worried I would feel the same about this. As it turned out, I was worried about nothing. Katia immediately made me feel at ease and during the treatments, she checked in with me to make sure I was not uncomfortable. If I was, she adjusted her technique. I signed up for her 10-series, and I will say that by the 3rd visit in the series, I started feeling SO much betterin ways I hadnt anticipated! The physical issues I originally went in for were improving, but more than thatI was seeing changes in other ways that I didnt expect! The biggest one is that I suddenly had the ability to (comfortably) lay flat on my bed (or a floor), and that was helping me sleep better, which had been a long-time struggle for me. (Huge bonus!) My posture improved considerably and even now, months afterward, I feel like I walk more upright and feel like I can breathe better. But I think the best part of my experience with Katia is that she is so knowledgeable about our bodies and she always explained what she was doing and how it would help me. She has a very warm and welcoming demeanor and I always felt respected and listened to when I worked with her. If youre considering doing Structural Integration/Rolfing, I would highly, HIGHLY recommend Katia Hofheins. She is a true professional!

I have had the pleasure of receiving work from Katia. She is very attentive to what the body is telling her. She is gentle but patient with her work. I had great results. I could go on and on. If you are curious and thinking about trying Rolfing I highly suggest you book your appointment now.

After seeing Katia, youll fire your chiropractor. Getting referred to her was the best thing that happened to me after a nasty ski injury. I suffered from whiplash, 4 ribs out of place and no mobility in my neck that led to a mild form of stenosis. Having my mobility taken away was the worse thing that could happen because Im so active in sports. I couldnt do a single push up or close my hand due to the nerves being shut down from the neck trauma. I saw improvement after only 1 visit in the series of 10 therapy sessions. I started to go every week for therapy and was able to start pressing movements little by little. There was no cracking or pulling on the bones like the chiropractor. Instead, its the manipulation of the muscles that surround the bones and connective tissues that I benefited from the most. 8 months later, Im back to the best physical shape Ive ever been in. I go for maintenance only at this point, but most importantly have a great understanding of my body and why/how things work. I strongly recommend her for wellness/therapy. Its changed my life and perspective on the bodys healing properties without having to get cut open. She saved me.
