Weird experience. Not bad, just...weird. I lived in apartments managed by Lakeside Property Mgmt with my wife. We got divorced, both moved away. Almost 3 YEARS later they sent me an email about a security deposit refund that is owed to me/my x-wife. I called them and they told me they attempted for over 2 YEARS to get ahold of my x-wife for the $1,000+ deposit-refund that was owed to us. They also have my contact info on record, but didn't one single time attempt to notify me about the $1,000+ refund until almost 3 years later, when I received an email. They told me over the phone they have tried multiple times to contact my X-wife about the refund, but those requests went unanswered. I asked twice on the phone why it took this long to reach out to me instead of my x-wife and that question was ignored. I, the X-husband, was also the one that signed the lease, which adds to this weirdness. We moved away in late 2000, the lease expiring early 2001, and in Nov, 2003, they finally sent ME an email about this, this email of mine they had on record the entire time. Bizarre.

I appreciate the communication from the property management team! I have a semi complex management situation and Madi works so hard to make sure my need are met and that the tenants are well taken care of!
