The positive items: The beds were decent and the pillows were very comfortable. Items to work on: The gym only has two equipment items now. A treadmill and a weights station. Yet, the website showed more equipment. The pool was down for maintenance. Also, do not use the vending machine on first floor. Will run a transaction but will not dispense the drinks. You have to call the service number on the machine to dispute. Real disappointment: No breakfast or restaurant on-site when the website and photos are displaying it. Apparently shut down in December of 2023. I was not told until I was checking in. I had even called to reserve but this was not disclosed. Found out from another they were not aware either. Some reviews on here mentioned no food available, unfortunately, they did not pop up under relevance. Hopefully this will help others. Final Summary: If you are passing through and just need a night to sleep, this can work. But if you are spending more than one night, I would try another. We will try another location when we visit again. Rooms: The room was clean. The bed pillows were very comfortable and the bed was pretty good. The lighting was a little poor but we also had a light out. I let them know the evening we arrived but they never repaired it. Water pressure was good. Food & drinks: None. I had no idea the restaurant was closed for good until I arrived late in the evening. They give you a list of possible eateries in the area. Very disappointed on this as I had called for reservations and had a follow up call for confirmation. They never mentioned it. If I had the opportunity, I would have selected a different place. There is a McDonalds right next to it at least. Noteworthy details: Food is no longer available here. Should be disclosed and removed from features.

Recently, I spent a couple of nights here with my kids during Spring Break(March 2024) Sad to say, the "Old Grey Mare ain't what she used to be." Shilo Inns in their day had great amenities and were known for quality. Shilo Inn today is like the K-mart of Hotels--most of them have been sold off and what's left is outdated, dirty, and a shell of its former self. The KF Shilo Inn has no breakfast, no restaurant, and no hot tub. During the 1990s and early 2000s this place was great, sadly ALL of the 1990s in-room furnishings are still present (with lots of stains) Clearly, Shilo Cooperate is investing very little into what they have left in their portfolio--it's time to set this hotel free so someone else can renovate it back into something special.

Quick overnight stay. We chose this hotel because it was the only in the area we could find that allowed dogs. Service was fine, rooms were mostly clean, room was a little grimy. The entire building was insanely hot. Like at least 80 degrees in the hallways. Thankfully the AC unit worked in the room but very weird for March.
