Weddle Elementary served as a host location for the Indian Education program within the Salem-Keiser district that my brother works for.It was the first time we participated, and we made it a family affairs, with both of our girls qualifying as our decendents with our tribal affiliation.We enjoyed dinner in their cafeteria before splitting into groups for learning sessions. The school was clean and cheerful. I enjoyed seeing all of the kids' artwork displayed as we walked through the halls. We attended a robotics class and a native class that focused on geography and traditions. We all learned how to make cornhusk dolls and left with one of our own. Thank you Salem-Keiser for recognizing and teaching Native American culture in public schools!

Friendliest Staff and Great kids
My son loved go there . Theirs always a smiling face to great you from crossing the streets to entering the cafeteria .
