The manager at this place evaluates everyone: (customers, employees)and decides quickly if you are a predator or prey. If you show too much confidence in yourself, you get the boot. Fear is the energy at this Dollar Tree, the manager is paranoid of everything and everyone. Unfortunately she spreads that to her employees stressing them out with bullying. You can see it in their body language and speaking style. The manager called the cops on me for eating in my car.(Minutes after shopping here) After being cleared of wrongdoing, I realize it is the manager who called the police when she refuses my request to use the restroom. I buy a soda and politely exit. The long version: After dropping my brother off at work I stopped at this Dollar Tree for minor sundries then I go out to the car to eat lunch. A Junction City police officer walked up to where I was parked and told me that someone called because they thought I was doing drugs in my car. "I can see that's not the case, so have a good day!" He said cheerfully. He was nice. I still had to use the restroom before going back to Eugene, so I go back into the Dollar Tree and ask if I can use it. This is where I realized that it was the manager and her staff that called the police. That's cool, that doesn't bother me, what bothers me is my full bladder. But the restroom was occupied. "I don't think we're going to let you use the restroom." an employee said, unable to make eye contact. "CODE 99" someone says over the intercom (one subreddit says this is the code for "Suspicious Person"). I decide the restroom can wait, so I buy a cherry pepsi to go out the door. "CODE 10" goes the intercom. While waiting in line I notice the manager, flanked by two of her henchwomen, giving me a hard stare from halfway across the This is the only Dollar Tree where I've seen the employees ask if they can "Help you find anything?", and it has nothing to do with helping you find anything. It is an excuse to get near you to note your demeanor/clothing and hear your voice, to try to gage whether or not you're going to try to steal their Chinese made fake flowers and lead contaminated cinnamon. The intercom codes, -CODE 99-, -CODE 10- and so forth are meaningless. The manager/employees simply make them up to scare shoplifters and because they think they sound cool. I've never hear them used at any other Dollar Tree. The manager only understands fear, and wants to make you afraid.

There's only two people working every Sunday, so waiting in line is definitely a thing especially if one is on break or lunch.
