This is a bit of a long review , so I apologize ahead of time : I became a patient with this gynecologist office when I was dealing with some very scary health issues . And to be honest , my initial experience was a good one . I was extremely relieved to have found this place and become a patient with them . But , the issues began prior to my second appointment with them . I needed an ultrasound procedure done and they called and told me that I owed them several hundred dollars upfront because my insurance didnt cover it due to my deductible not being met . I called my insurance because I knew due to the various health issues Id had , that my deductible had been met and then some . Sure enough, my insurance not only assured me that it had been met , but they were very throughly confused on why they were asking for the amount they were asking even if it hadnt . The lady I spoke with at my insurance company personally called and spoke with them to make sure it was straightened out properly because she was so confused by how much they were trying to charge me upfront and why . Once again , when I was actually seen , the care was good . I just figured it was a billing mistake .. itd been resolved, no biggie . I saw them 2 more times . No issues . Flash forward a few months & they started calling me and sending me bills over $19 . After one morning where theyd called me literally 4 times while I was trying to sleep since I work graveyard shift , I called and spoke to them and they were trying to charge me my $10 co pay that I had already paid . I knew it was already paid because this office will not let you walk through their doors unless you pay . And I always paid every co pay of every visit upfront . Of course they stated they were correct and any burden of proof that I had already paid it is my responsibility. I know it was only $19 , I guess I could have just sucked it up & paid it . It was kinda the point that I had already paid it & I was starting to notice a pattern of them messing up when it came to billing . I was frustrated, but I wasnt yelling or cussing. I was very tired and frustrated by the situation though. They told me to prove I paid the co pay & were very rude and patronizing with me the entire phone call & finally just hung up on me . Whoever is in their billing is always very rude ! My young adult daughter , who is still under our insurance was conned into paying over $100 to them & the reason she owed it made no sense . She had the same procedures done as I did , with the same insurance, so why would she supposedly owe over $100 & I owe $19 ?! None of it made much sense at all . She is new to the whole adulting on her own thing , didnt want issues and paid it without questioning it . The lady in their billing department was very rude to her as well and literally threatened to send it to collections and go on her credit after shed asked if she could wait until her pay day to make the owed payment . She didnt even know about any balance supposedly owed to them until the day they called . Anyways , making a long story as short as possible, I received a letter dismissing me as a patient for being rude and disrespectful (again I never raised my voice or cursed , etc .. just questioned why I owed money). And they are also stating in their letter if I want any of my medical records from them I will have to pay a fee. This is insane ! So in short , the the gynecologist & her medical staff were nice enough & the care was good . I wont deny any of that . But whoever is in charge of their billing is honestly very rude and it almost feels like being scammed because it doesnt make sense (my insurance is confused as well) & if you question it youre dismissed as a patient & your records are held unless you pay a fee ?! It really stinks because I thought Id found a good gynecologist.. but she has to be aware of how her billing staff is treating patients and is ok with it & that is NOT ok . So beware , good medical care. But their billing staff is rude & uncooperative & incorrect.

I have been a patient of Dr. Corbin for about 8 years now since my previous gynecologist retired. Being a Registered Nurse myself I am very selective in my choice of providers. Dr. Corbin is without any doubt a very caring, skilled and thorough gynecologist and I highly recommend her and her team.

Dr Corbin seems to have constant turnover in staff. The office ignores Oregon Health Authority mask mandates. ALL healthcare providers are to follow the mandate. Their excuse is that they don't see sick people?! What about immune compromised? You put your patients at risk and I won't be back.

Dr. Corbin came recommended from a family friend after my former doctor retired. I was assigned to the PA and never saw Dr. Corbin for my first annual wellness. When a mammogram proved that I needed a breast biopsy, needless to say, I was concerned. The bedside manner of the nurse that called me was very matter-of-fact cold and unconcerned. She was borderline rude. Ive never had this experience with womens healthcare associates team that I was with originally. They actually called as well since they still had my record and checked in with me and talked through my procedure options and helped me find the best solution. I will be going back to Womens Healthcare Associates ASAP. I would not recommend anyone to Dr. Corbin and her team. They are cold hearted and lack compassion!!!
