Every summer we wait for the Hermiston watermelons. It's almost August and the big seeded Hermistons
Just came in. Most of them were picked too early, the green parts looked kinda washed out and most of them did not even have the yellow spot or sugar lines. I picked one that had a pretty good yellow spot and not as washed out look. Got it home and sliced into it. It was terrible. Really disappointed. They used to have quality first but this year that was obviously not the case. I'm sure later in this summer they will get better but they should have waited until their product was ready and maintain their image of quality above just early cash flow. Thank you, Gary.
