Oregon Cremation Company was the right choice for my family when my son died while visiting Oregon. They overcame difficulties with weather and state bureaucracy when we were far away living in South Carolina and North Carolina. When the tragic news of my son death reached us, I looked up several funeral homes and cremation services. Some were unresponsive. One informed me that they would not give me a cost of the services that I wanted from them until they had the body. Oregon Cremation Company published the services provided and cost on their website. They were very responsive. Their funeral director, Ben Irwin, went the extra mile. Ben kept me advised as weather delayed the pickup for cremation. When the Medical Examiners office delayed the final death certificate a couple months until test results were returned plus other certificate delays, it was Ben Irwin who took extra steps to assist me. Ben did not focus on just what he had to do and was more focused on what was the right thing to do.

Benjamin Irwin was accessible and professional each time we spoke. He is rock solid each step of the process; very much a relief during a confusing time. When I pass, I will make it clear that I want Oregon Cremation Company to to take care of me.
