        Nobody even wants to know about the way they treat employees, to say nothing is the illegal practices.

        I went to pick up my grandma on day 8 after a snowstorm. The roads were not plowed inside the complex and the sidewalks had 3 of ice. It was so slick I had to crawl on all fours at some points. The Villages solution was that residents (who need food, prescriptions, etc) were told to not leave their units. I was told they would not use salt or de icer cause it would ruin the finish on their sidewalks. Sand would have worked but they somehow hadnt thought of that. It is concerning that The Village is prioritizing the conditions of their sidewalks over the safety of their residents, many of whom use walkers, assistive devices, and generally are high fall risks.

      I am sorry if you had a bad experience. We are at a loss over how you even had an interaction with us, or if you are mixing us up with another company. We do not know who you are or how you might know anything about us. Please contact us so we can help. We have a great reputation in our community and among our employees. We have many employees here who have worked here for decades. Once in awhile employees move on to other opportunities, but often they even come back!

      I am so sorry for what you experienced. We use every possible resource we have in region wide events like what we experienced. You are so right about prioritizing safety. We prioritize our resident's safety before anything else. That is why we encourage residents to stay in their apartments and we bring them meals, medicine, food or whatever they need. That is the safest place for them to be.
